“Tingnan ninyo gaano kahirap.

The Manila Mayor also reminded that people’s money was used to buy equipment to clean these graffiti. According to Isko, the funds available for public services such as housing and free medicines would go a long way toward cleaning up graffiti.

As a result, Isko questioned graffiti groups who said they were fighting for the poor.

Gumising kayo, mga kababayan,” he added.

The mayor also emphasized that there are many methods of mocking the government, but for Isko, painting graffiti in public establishments is wrong.
