Isko Moreno Approves Promotion Of Traffic Officer Dragged By Car
ISKO MORENO – Manila mayor Isko Moreno recently disclosed that he approved the promotion of the traffic officer who was dragged by a car.
A traffic officer, identified as Adrian Lim, was caught on CCTV that he was being dragged by a vehicle (identified as a Mitsubishi Expander). The vehicle was owned by Orlando Ricardo Dizon Jr.
Lim caught Orlando for disregarding lane marking, in which there is a fine of about ₱500. However, instead of paying for the fine, Dizon atempted to escape.
Lim sustained wounds from the said incident and had his face swollen.
Ricardo Jr. was eventually caught and was sent to Station 3 of Manila Police District. Moreno paid a visit to Orlando and scolded him, further showed dismay of Orlando’s abusive action towards the enforcer.
According to GMA, Moreno approved the regularization of Lim as an employee of the government
During the ceremony, Moreno praised Lim, who happened to be a job order worker of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB).
As per the report, Dizon was charged with physical injuries; and hit and run.
