Police Authorities Arrest College Student After Threatening Female Gamer To Upload Her Undressed Photos
The police authorities arrested a college student after threatening a female minor gamer to post her undressed photos online.
On Saturday (November 16, 2019), the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested the 19-year-old Henry Rubio. The first-year college student has been nabbed after threatening his Mobile Legends playmate.
Rubio and the female minor gamer were playmates on the popular online game since April 2019. Eventually, the suspect asked the victim for her naked photos. The young lady grants her playmate and sent her nudes via Instagram.
On Friday (November 15, 2019), the suspect threatened to upload the nude photos of the minor gamer if she would not meet him along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, according to the authorities.
The family of the female gamer seeks help from the Batasan police station officers who arrested the college student at his house in Barangay Holy Spirit.
The suspect would face charges after violating the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act and the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. Rubio is currently detained at the Batasan police station.
