BREAKING NEWS – A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck the town of Palanan in the province of Isabela.

Nowadays, earthquake is one of the unexpected calamities that could hit several places in and out of the Philippines with no prior signs or indications. Temblors could strike different areas with different magnitudes and intensities.

Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake

On Monday morning (November 11, 2019), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that a magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck the town of Palanan in Isabela at 08:28 am.

According to the volcanology agency, the tremor has been located at 16.84°N, 122.51°E – 026 km S 18° E of Palanan, Isabela. The quake is tectonic in origin and has a depth of 013 kilometers.

Phivolcs said that no aftershocks or damage are expected following the moderately strong earthquake in Isabela.
