Philippine Coast Guard Rescues Passengers from Distressed MV Siargao Princess

RESCUE OPERATION – Here are some photos of the Philippine Coast Guard while rescuing the passengers from sinking MV Siargao Princess.

Over the past few days, the severe tropical storm Quiel continue to affect the weather condition the country. The weather disturbance brings rains over parts of the Philippines and causes rough coastal water condition.

On Thursday (November 7, 2019), the Facebook page “CDN Digital” has shared the photos of Philippine Coast Guard personnel while rescuing the distressed passengers of MV Siargao Princess.

MV Siargao Princess is reportedly taking in water after having an encounter with huge waves 3 to 5 nautical miles off the coast of Sibonga town, southern Cebu.

PCG-Central Visayas spokesperson Lt. Junior Grade Michael Encina reported that the coast guard was able to rescue around 60 people as of this writing. PCG personnel and assets are still investigating the incident.
