Young Student Found Dead Inside Boarding House in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental
DUMAGUETE CITY – A young student has been found dead inside his boarding house in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
On Monday morning (November 4, 2019), a 19-year-old Business Administration student identified as Silverio Caesar has been founded inside his rented room at Barangay Junob in the city of Dumaguete.
The police authorities reported that Silverio’s board mate, Al James Ernie Marcelo found the victim’s lifeless body inside the room. Marcelo noticed a disgusting smell coming from the victim’s room.
The witness decided to open the door and got shocked after he saw the dead body of his board mate, according to the police report.
Dumaguete City Police Office officer-in-charge Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilfredo Alarcon explained that there are no signs of foul play based on the initial investigation. Alarcon said that the victim complained of not feeling well a few days before his demise.
“Ingon iyang mga friends nga mi text siya ug miingon nga bisitaha unya ko ninyo ug pagdala ug kape,” Alarcon said.
The police officer said that the cadaver has been discovered 72 hours after the victim passed away.
