Tricycle Driver Shows Children’s Report Card Inside His Trike

A tricycle driver proudly showed his children’s report card after displaying it at the dashboard of his vehicle.

Most parents are really proud of their children’s achievement especially if their kids could get academic awards and high grades in class. Some parents even displayed their child’s achievement in public.

Recently, another tricycle driver shows how proud he is with his kid’s grades by displaying it on his trike while other drivers are decorating their tricycles with little toys, stickers, and other decoratives.

A Facebook user named Ariel Centineo Lalisan has shared the photos of a proud father who displayed his children’s reports card inside his tricycle in Koronadal, South Cotabato. The pupil’s grades were all above 90, which was rated as Outstanding.

In the photos, it can be seen that the proud father hanged the laminated photocopies of his children’s report card on his trike. This little act of appreciation for his kid’s achievement could inspire his children to study more.

Saw this while riding a tricycle in Koronadal — hanging on the dashboard of a proud father’s tricycle are laminated photocopies of his children’s report cards. This makes you wanna say, #SanaAllFathersProud.

I am reminded of my late father who had always been proud of me. When I was in grade school, every March of each year, inside the public jeepney on our way to “Diangas,” he would proudly tell his friends that he was going to buy new clothes for me because I finished the school year as an honor student.

I think it is important that kids feel that their parents are proud of them or happy for their achievements. A few words or acts of appreciation will go a long way in rearing a confident child.
