Isko Moreno Companies Donate P30M To PGH
ISKO MORENO – Filipino politician Isko Moreno and several companies chip in for cancer patients at Philippine General Hospital (PGH).
Manila City Mayor Franciso “Isko” Moreno Domagoso is one of the most discussed politicians today. He has made a lot of positive changes in the city.
Moreno is slowly bringing the old glory of the city and he wants to accomplish that during his term. He is hired by a popular clothing brand ‘Jag’ as a model.
In a previous article, Isko Moreno decided to donate his talent fee to the cancer patients at the Philippine General Hospital. He donated his P1 million talent fee from ‘Jag’ as well as P1.5 million earnings as the ambassador of “I Am Coffee.”
During his recent capitol report, the 45-year-old politician revealed the reason why he chose not to donate the money to his city. The video was shared on Raffy Tulfo Supporter’s Facebook page.
Isko Moreno and several companies chip in for the cancer patients at PGH. A total of P30 million has been donated to help children who are diagnosed with cancer and liver ailments.
Based on a report from Manila Bulletin, Manila third district councilor Letlet Zarcal opted to raise funds to celebrate his 45th birthday. He collected P24.5 million from the golf tournament he organized.
Kenny Rogers and Seattle’s Best Coffee donated P1 million each while Jag Jeans gave P1 million and its sister company also contributed P2 million.
Isko Moreno donated the money to the children who are diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. He said it’s worst compared to cancer because it has no medication. The only way a patient could survive is to have a liver transplant.
“Ang bata pag may ganoong sakit, pag hindi sya na transplant, alam na natin ang magiging magyayari sa endgame,” said Moreno.
