Celebrity doctor Vicki Belo shared her experience meeting Manila Mayor Isko Moreno through her recent post on Instagram.
It is known to many that Mayor Isko’s political career became the talk of the town when he implemented drastic change in the capital city of the Philippines. Several celebrities and prominent personalities in the country have expressed admiration to him. The list even includes the Chief Executive of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Duterte.
Another person is added to the list of people admiring the Manila Mayor. Vicki Belo, recently shared a photo with Isko Moreno on IG. The celebrity doctor said that she is thankful that we have people like Mayor Isko. She shared that she learned a lot from the former actor in just a short time – over a coffee. “He taught me the importance of perspective . That life really depends on how you look at things,” Vicki said.
She also said that time, the Mayor convinced her to help Filipinos who were affected by the strong earthquake in Cotabato. The beauty expert also recalled what the politician said to her. “His words still linger with me until now, ‘Ang daming tao na naghahanap kung sino ang tutulong sa kanila. Tayo, pumipili tayo ng kaya nating tulungan,'” the doctor shared.
Vicki also thanked the Mayor Isko, who now earns the moniker “Yorme”, for inspiring other people of helping their fellowmen and not getting tired of doing even the smallest act of goodness.
