This tells the story of a boy who accepted someone as his friend. It happened in the Phillipines. There is a new boy named David in his school. People, including his classmates often think harshly of him, saying he is a teacher’s pet or a bootlicker.

He sits next to an acacia tree, watching his classmates play with each other.

One day, he brought a new package to his classmates in school. The package contained a puto seko that was made by his grandma. His classmates eventually accepted him.
