PAGASA – Visayas, Mindanao To Face Rains By LPA (October 31)
PAGASA – Weather bureau PAGASA said that Visayas, as well as the quake-hit areas of Mindanao will face cloudy skies and scattered rains.
The bureau further warned the public of potential flash floods or landslides that will occur during severe thunderstorms.
According to ABS-CBN, the following areas will be affeected by the low pressure area (LPA), which will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the following areas:
- Davao Region
- Caraga
- Northern Mindanao
- Visayas
The low pressure area was last seen at about 460 kilometers east of Davao City as of 3 A.M. on Thursday.
According to weather specialist Exra Bulquerin, the amihan or the northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rainsĀ over the province of Batanes.
Based on the report, as for Metro Manila and the rest of the country, they will expect fair weather with instances of isolated rains.
As for the temperature forecast, Metro Manila will face a maximum 33 degrees Celsius, 22 degrees Celsius for Baguio, 30 degrees Celsius in Cebu, 27 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay, 31 degrees Celsius in Davao.
