What’s worse is that the kids of these poor families end up on the streets and not in schools. The most common reason for this is because they need to do their part to help put food on the table.

As people who are more privileged, we have the opportunity to help out people like this. However, there are always people who tend to take advantage of their situations.

Recently, a photo of a young boy went viral after it was uploaded by a Facebook netizen named Januarie Sunnung Calzado. This person was furious because traffic enforcers took advantage of a kid.

According to Calzado, the boy was a “suki” who often sells his products at their office. Every day, the boy goes there to sell his products because he can’t afford to go to school.

Then, one day, Calzado said that they just saw the kid crying outside their office. Concerned, Calzado and her office mates asked the kid what happened.

The boy said he was simply selling fruits along P Tuazon Cubao, Quezon City. As he was selling his fruits, several traffic enforcers came up to him and took four packs of mangoes without paying for them.

The poor child was left helpless from the situation as he couldn’t even begin to imagine what to do. He was left crying as he lost four packs of mangoes that could’ve put food on his family’s table.

Calzado didn’t disclose how much money he lost. But, for him, it didn’t matter what the price was as that amount was already big for him and his family.
