Town of Barayong Magsaysay in Davao del Sur Surprised by Hailstorm
HAILSTORM – A certain resident of Barayong Magsaysay in Davao del Sur was surprised after pellets of frozen ice poured down on their area.
Nowadays, climate change is one of major problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. The sudden changes in temperature causes negative impact to the environment.
Human activities usually affects the environment and could lead to global warming. Waste pollution and other illegal activities increase greenhouse gas levels causing unusual effects to our surroundings.
On Saturday afternoon (October 26, 2019), a Facebook user named Harvey Flores has shared the video footage of a hailstorm carrying ice pellets hitting the town of Barayong Magsaysay in Davao del Sur.
In the video, it can be seen that Flores is about to keep his tent and other items when the rain suddenly poured down. After a few moments, the rain started to become small pieces of ice.
