The issue about the “fake passport” of beauty queen Samantha Lo for the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant in Venezuela showed that it passed the immigration officer in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Last week, reports surfaced that Samantha went back to the country days before the international pageant. It was said that she stayed for several hours at the airport in Paris and was forced to go back home due to a problem in her “ticket”.
Amid the speculations, her pageant sisters and fellow winners in the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 were asked about this. However, they did not have concrete answers. That time, the BPCI remained silent about the issue.
Days after the press presentation and pre-pageant activities, Samantha Lo broke her silence through her Instagram post. She said that her local pageant organizer did not help her during the “traumatic” experience she had.
However, based on the report from PEP, BCPI stated that the parents of the beauty queen admitted that they acquired her passport from a “fixer”. It was said that the French immigration authorities found out that her Philippine passport was “fake”.
This statement from the local pageant organizer proved that the passport that Samantha had passed the immigration officer in NAIA. How could that be? If only it was already found out earlier here in the country, the beauty queen would no longer have the problem when she was in Paris.
Nevertheless, based on the article, the issue somehow helped Samantha Lo. It was said that she is now one of the top contenders in the swimsuit category.
