Filipina beauty queen Samantha Lo is the Philippines representative to the 2019 Miss Grand International pageant. The beauty contest will be held in Venezuela this coming Friday, October 25, 2019.
In a previous article, Samantha went back to the Philippines days before the start of the pre-pageant. She had a problem acquiring a ticket for her trip.
A few days later, Samatha Lo took to the social media to speak up before she arrives in Venezuela for the Miss Grand International competition. Samantha revealed that she had a traumatic experience and admitted that she was disappointed to her local organizer.
“I chose to break my silence until I arrived in Venezuela because I wanted to make sure I got here safely… But yes, my local organizer, who handled my travel preparations, failed to equip me with the proper transit visa that may have enabled me to complete my earlier trip to this host country,” she said.
Samantha Lo finally arrived in Venezuela on Saturday. Despite the incidents, she said that she will continue to represent the Philippines.
Recently, the Cebuana beauty queen and Miss Grand Thailand 2019 Coco Arayha Suparurk crossed paths at the competition. The two beauty queens posed for a photo amid earlier controversy.
It can be remembered that the Thai beauty queen posted body-shaming comments against Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray. Coco Arayha Suparurk got embroiled with the Filipino pageant fans. Samantha Lo was among the people who reacted on the issue. She said, Suparurk wasn’t invited to “pizza night with Cat & I.”
Yesterday, the Thai beauty queen was among the candidates who welcomed Samantha to the competition. She even posted their photo on her Instagram account.
