Here’s what Samantha Lo experienced before arriving in Venezuela for MGI 2019
Filipina beauty queen Samantha Lo revealed her experience before she arrived in Venezuela for the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant.
It can be recalled that days before the start of the pre-pageant competition, there were rumors that Samantha went back to the Philippines. Reportedly, she had a problem acquiring a ticket for her trip to Venezuela, the host country this year, from Paris. However, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. has not released any statement regarding this which added fire to the speculations of the real reason why she came back home.
When the press presentation and pre-pageant events already started, pageant enthusiasts wondered where the Philippine representative is. The Binibini sisters of Samantha Lo were asked about what happened to her. However, they said in an interview that they have no idea what really happened and that they are ready to support their sister no matter what.
After a few days of silence, Samantha finally spoke up. Through her recent Instagram post she revealed that she had a traumatic experience before arriving in Venezuela. “I chose to break my silence until I arrived in Venezuela because I wanted to make sure I got here safely,” she shared.
She also shared her disappointment to her local organizer that did not help her. “But yes, my local organizer, who handled my travel preparations, failed to equip me with the proper transit visa that may have enabled me to complete my earlier trip to this host country,” Samantha said.
Despite what happened, the Pinay beauty queen is hopeful to do well in the pageant and to bring home the crown for the Philippines. Here’s her post.
