Sulli, former f (x) member died at the age of 25
K-Pop star Sulli, Choi Jin-Ri in real life, died at the age of 25 as her lifeless body was found at her home in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, South Korea, at around 3:21 P.M. KST on October 14, Monday.
Sulli started her showbiz career as a child star through the SBS drama Ballad of Seodong back in 2005. She was officially launched as one of the members of the South Korean girl group f(x) in 2009. The group also included Amber, Krystal, Luna, and Victoria.
In 2012, she ventured into acting romantic-comedy series To The Beautiful You, which also starred SHINee member Choi Min Ho. She formally left the group in 2015 to concentrate on ber acting career.
Indeed, she is one of the famous K-Pop stars and her popularity extended even in the Philippines and in other countries. That is why fans of the Korean artist were shock all over the world upon knowing this sad news. Seongnam Sujeong Police Station confirmed that Sulli was found dead by her manager at her home.
Based on the article from Philippine Entertainment Portal, initial reports point out that the K-Pop star died in an apparent suicide. However, at the time of writing there is no confirmation yet regarding this. Authorities are still conducting further investigations about what happened. They are also looking for the possibility that Sulli might have left a note.
The singer-actress from the SM Entertainment was also rumored to have attempted suicide back in 2016 following reports of her troubled relationship with former boyfriend Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, based on the report.
