Recently, the video of a cruise ship squeezing into a tiny canal went viral on social media. Based on a report from Daily Mail, it was the biggest cruise ship to pass the four-mile-long Corinth Canal.
The incredible footage shows that the passengers were all watching from the top deck of MS Braemar cruise ship. They can even reach and touch the sides of the canal that separates Greece from the Peloponnesian Peninsula.
According to the report, the cruise ship was assisted by a tug boat. It helped the captain to guide it in the correct position. The ship is 196 meters long, 22 meters wide and could carry more than 1,200 passengers.
Surely, some of the passengers were terrified while some were thrilled to witness the breath-taking moment. No doubt, the captain of the ship was very pro because he managed to control the biggest cruise ship to pass through the tiny canal.
