Isko Moreno Receives Gift From Former ‘Isko-lar Ng Bayan’
MORENO – The former scholar’s gift for Manila Mayor Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso got him emotional.
Actor-turned-politician Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso is the current mayor if the city of Manila. He has done lots of positive changes in the city after he took office.
Among his recent achievements include the clearing operation in Divisoria, cleaning the national park, restore cultural heritage, and strict implementation of the city ordinance. His latest achievements elicited a reaction from Sen. Panfilo Lacson. The senator said politicians like him made him look forward to his retirement.
In a previous article, Isko Moreno was caught on camera closing Isetann Recto Mall over lack of business permits. He has already warned the said mall several times about the illegal selling of second-hand cellphones.
During the latest capitol report of the 44-year-old politician, he expressed his gratitude to all the people who willingly gave their support to their city. He also showed a gift he received from his supporter. The video was shared on Raffy Tulfo Supporters‘ Facebook Page.
Isko Moreno turned emotional after he discovered that one of his former scholars gave him the gorgeous brown leather shoes. He said he had a program “Isko-lar Ng Bayan” when he was the vice mayor. Renz Niel Signo was among the youth who are given a privilege to go to college for free.
Mr. Signo graduated Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and he now owns his own company ‘Signo Custom Clothing’ in Espanya.
“Talagang hindi mo pwedeng husgahanb ang tao eh. Minsan ang tao kailangan lang talaga ng tulay eh. Yung makatawid siya,” said Moreno.
