The heartbreaking photos of an elderly vendor selling corn amidst rain goes viral after it was posted on social media.
A Facebook user named MiracArl Barde has shared the photos of an elderly woman selling corn amidst rain. The heartbreaking photos immediately spread like a wildfire online and earned the sympathy of the netizens.
In the photos, it can be seen that the old woman is desperately roaming around to sell her products despite the inclement weather condition. In other photos, it can be noticed that the lady is having difficulty to push her cart because of her condition.
The Philippine Women’s University-CDCEC Sta. Cruz helped the elderly vendor in the viral post. The school have also prepared different items for the woman and even gave her a new cart. The university also gave her a certain amount of cash for her small business.
The unidentified vendor has expressed her gratefulness towards the kindness of the university and also thanked Barde for sharing her photos online, which opened the door of help for her.
