Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Monday (October 7)
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units and universities have declared class suspension in observance of the following events.
On Monday (October 7, 2019), the classes in different areas in the Philippines have been suspended after some local government units declared the date as a special non-working holiday.
The cancellation of classes have been announced in celebration of world teacher’s day, faculty day, and other activities.
Here is the list of areas covered by the suspension of classes:
- DIPOLOG CITY
Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy have declared October 7, 2019 as a special non-working holiday in Dipology City in accordance with the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dipolog City’s Resolution No. 19-73.
- TACLOBAN CITY
Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez released the Executive Order No. 19-10-170 declaring the cancellation of classes on Monday in public schools for the elementary and high school levels in celebration of the world teacher’s day.
- BULACAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Bulacan State University suspends the classes in all campus due to the celebration of the Faculty Day. All the faculty members of the university are required to attend the activity.
