Alden Richards Meets Up With Look-Alike From Pangasinan
ALDEN RICHARDS – Did you know that the newly crowned Philippine box office king has a look-alike?
Well if you don’t, we would like to inform you that he does. And the resemblance to Alden is uncanny.
Alden’s lookalike would also be someone from a profession you wouldn’t expect. His lookalike is actually a priest from Pangasinan.
Father Joseph Panaligan got the attention of netizens in January 2018. Somebody uploaded a photo of him baptizing a baby and it went viral quickly.
Netizens couldn’t help but be in awe of the resemblance of the two. However, according to a report on GMA, the two have a deeper connection than just looks.
Apparently, Eat Bulaga had donated a library to the community of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan in the name of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s “Aldub”. It was also built in Fr. Joseph’s parish.
Because of this, Fr. Joseph always wanted to meet Alden so he could thank him personally. And recently, the priest finally got a chance to visit Alden during taping.
When they met, he even gave the actor a couple of gifts of gratitude. He gave Alden a century-old image old image of Sto Niño, and a history book of Nuestra Señora.
“Nakakatuwa kasi yung value niya is more than anything else, it’s priceless and binigay nila Father sakin to as a gift”, said Alden. Because of the gifts, Alden said that he got more motivated in life.
Father Joseph then said that meeting Alden was fun and overwhelming. He then hoped that Alden would experience true happiness from the world’s greatest gift, Jesus Christ.
