Aquino then stated that her brother is a police officer. He then added that she has powerful connections within the local government officials as well as the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Afterwards, Aquino said that the drug queen also has relatives linked to drugs who are politicians as well. The PDEA director also stated that the said politician had 17 distributors of illegal drugs.

These drugs were allegedly acquired from “ninja cops”. Moreover, the dealers included a couple of barangay officials, he added.

According to the report by GMA, “Ninja Cops” is the term used to describe corrupt policemen selling confiscated drugs. These ninja cops also protect her operations, Aquino added.

There were previous attempted operations to catch the drug queen. However those failed due to leaked information from her people in the government.

Aquino said that when the drug queen catches wind that authorities are coming, her camp would feel that there would be an operation. When that happens, they would put up a check-point.

He then stated that checkpoints take time. During which, the targeted area of the operations could get cleaned, removing any evidence.

The illegal drugs that are distributed by the drug queen’s group range from two-three kilos. This is just in the Manila area alone, said the PDEA director.

Aquino then stated that two things are happening with the confiscated drugs. First, they recycle it through selling.

Second, they can use it for operations in the future. For example, drug planting, Aquino added.
