Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Monday (September 16)

CLASS SUSPENSION – Several local government units have declared the cancellation of classes over some parts of the country due to the inclement weather condition.

Over the weekend, the southwest monsoon or locally known as “Habagat” affects the weather condition in several areas. The weather system brings heavy rains and strong winds that causes flood in the affected areas.

The Habagat is currently bringing an inclement weather over the Central Luzon, Southern Luzon and Visayas regions. The state weather bureau PAGASA is now monitoring two low-pressure area; the first LPA was found at 610 km West of Zambales and the other one at 2,570 km East Northeast of Visayas.

CLASS SUSPENSION

On Monday (September 16, 2019), several LGUs have declared the suspension of classes due to the bad weather caused by the southwest monsoon. The Habagat is currently lashing Metro Manila with heavy rains.

The class suspensions have been done to ensure the safety of the students for any possible risk brought by the weather system.

  • Noveleta, Cavite

Pre-school to Senior High School

Metro Manila

  • City of Manila
