Green Day Is Coming To Manila Next Year

GREEN DAY – American rock band Green Day just announced in Youtube that they are scheduled to perform at Mall of Asia next year.

American rock band Green Day is one of the famous rock bands in the world. Millions of Filipinos were fans of the band and know the lyrics of their songs. The band has consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt.

The alternative punk rock band has released over 200 songs that include their singles, compilation, and studio albums. They are the performer behind the hit songs ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends,’ ‘American Idiot,’ ‘Basket Case,’ and ’21 Guns’ among others.

Recently, Manila Concert Scene tweeted that the punk band is coming to the Philippines next year. The Hall-of-Fame rock group is set to perform at the Mall of Asia on March 14, 2020.

On Wednesday, September 11, Green Day announced the good news on their Youtube Channel and revealed their latest album, “Father of All Mother F—–.” The concert is presented by Harley-Davidson with Fall Out Boy, and Weezer.

Their new album is expected to be released in February 2020. This is the first time, one of the biggest selling rock-music band, will be holding a concert in the Philippines.

They will also perform in other Asian countries namely in Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
