Millenial Parents Wants Their Kids Prepared For The Future, Study Shows
MILLENIAL PARENTS – A study from HP Inc. shows that millenial parents want to have their kids ready for the future.
According to a report from Manila Bulletin, the HP branch in the country recently released their New Asian Learning Experience Study.
The study aims to discover how parents’ personalities and behavior could give an impact in the ways where they describe learning for their kids to equip them the necessary tools for their future.
It also showed that most of the parents are realists, further stressing that they know of the possible obstacles their children face in the next decades and they are willing to do what they can in order to secure a successful future.
As per the report, Pallasena V Viswanath, Managing Director of the Philippines branch, said that the study gave insights on how learning evolves and where their innovation can make sure that the youth will thrive.
Viswanath further added that they are in lieu with the parental focus on remaking learning in order to make a positive effect on the youth today.
The study further showed that parents have the belief that printed materials will give a positive impact to the learning of their children rather than totally digital learning.
They, however, see the combination of traditional and digital materials as the most advantageous, adding that printed materials are used for works affiliated to art, math, and memory. As for digital, they say it is better to use in activities related to music, auditory skills, and of course, art.
