Cops Release Names Of 9 Victims in Calamba Plane Crash
CALAMBA PLANE CRASH – The cops release the names of the 9 victims of the Calamba plane crash on Sunday, September 1.
Lots of people have died in a plane crash. Among the reasons for these accidents include mechanical failure, weather, and human error.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, several people died in a plane crash on Calamba, Laguna on Sunday, September 1. The official from the city’s public order and safety said their small plane crashed in a swimming pool at a resort.
An official from Calamba City Public Order and Safety Office, Jeff Rodriguez, said the terrible incident happened around 3 in the afternoon at a resort in Barangay Pansol. The authorities retrieved 9 dead bodies from the crash site around 8 p.m.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines said the small plane is an 11-seater medical evacuation plane RP-C2296. The air vehicle is on its way back to Manila from Dipolog.
According to the report, the authorities named all the victims of the plane crash on Monday, September 2. They were on board King AIR 350. Cops identified the victims as:
- Capt. Jesus Hernandez (pilot)
- First Officer Lino Cruz Jr. (co-pilot)
- Dr. Garret Garcia, M.D.
- Yamato Togawa (nurse)
- Kirk Eoin Badilla (nurse)
- Tom Carr – patient
- Erma Carr – patient’s wife
- Raymond Bulacja
- Ryx Gil Laput
Based on the report, the authorities identified two casualties on the ground as John Rey Roca (19) and Malou Roca (49). Both of them were rushed to the nearby hospital in Calamba after the incident.
