This is the reaction of comedian Dennis Padilla to the bashers of his daughter Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto amid the issue with Gerald Anderson.
As a father, it is inevitable for Dennis to defend her daughter, especially that Julia was involved in a controversy just recently. Cheating allegations against her and Gerald sparked negative comments from netizens. The Between Maybes stars were grilled on social media.
Amid the issue, Dennis confirmed that he and Gerald had a conversation in which the latter said that he already broke up with Bea Alonzo and is pursuing Julia. However, Bea’s “ghosting” statement even mutiplied the bashers of the rumored couple.
Julia even gained more bashing when she accused Bea of bullying her. With this, Dennis Padilla said a piece of his mind regarding the bashers of his daughter. During a recent interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, the comedian said, “May mga pagkakataon na yung mga nagba-bash kay Julia, gusto kong isa-isang puntahan sa bahay at gulpihin, e.”
Dennis added that he really feels that way because he is a father. He also said that he does not like the accusation of other people that he is just riding on the issue. “Minsan may mga taong hindi ako nauunawaan. Parang ang basa nila, sumasakay ka pa sa gulo ng anak mo,” the comedian said.
He stressed out that his reaction is just normal since he is the father of Julia Barretto, based on the report from PEP. “Anak ko yun. Di ko kailangang sumakay,” the comedian said.
