Class Suspended in These Areas Today (August 27, 2019) Due to the Weather
CLASS SUSPENDED – Several local government units (LGUs) have decided to suspend classes today due to the bad weather condition, August 27, 2019.
Aside from national celebrations, another usual reason behind a class suspension is the bad weather condition. Most of the time, the order comes from the local government unit (LGU) based on PAGASA updates.
A class suspension is often implemented to ensure the safety of the children most especially the pre-schoolers. Aside from the fact that getting wet under the rain may expose them to sickness, there is more risk and struggle in going to school under a heavy downpour.
Currently, parts of the Philippines are experiencing a bad weather condition. It is due to tropical storm “Jenny”. In line with it, several LGUs have declared the suspension of classes.
Based on a report on Manila Bulletin, there were those provinces that suspended the class in pre-school while some apply it to all levels. Here is a list of the Metro Manila areas and provinces outside that declared the suspension of classes today, August 27, 2019:
