Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson’s mom, Evangeline ‘Vangie’ Opsima, dragged Zanjoe Marudo into the issue with Bea Alonzo.

When everyone thought that the Bea-Gerald-Julia issue has already subsided, the mother of the actor spoke to the local TV program in Mindanao regarding this. Mommy Vangie slammed Bea for allegedly making her son look bad. She also revealed that she does not like the actress for her son.

It can be recalled that Bea said in an interview that there was no formal breakup that happened between her and Gerald. On the other hand, the actor was linked to Julia Barretto when they did the movie Between Maybes. In line with Gerald-Julia rumored affair, Mommy Vangie also said that she is not in favor of it. The mother pointed out that Julia is too young for her son.

After Mommy Vangie’s rant, many were expecting for Bea to fire back. However, the drama actress appeared to be nonchalant about this. Netizens speculated that Bea’s recent post was her answer to Gerlad’s mom – “dedma”.

Apparently, there was another name that surfaced from the statement of Mommy Vangie. Based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal, she also dragged the name of Zanjoe Marudo into the issue. “Hiniwalayan mo si Zanjoe. You didn’t say anything laban kay Zanjoe. Naghiwalay kayo na matagal kayong [may] relasyon na ilang taon,” the mother of Gerald said.

Mommy Vangie also pointed out that allegedly Bea would always appear on TV every time Gerald would commit a mistake. She also accused the actress of degrading her son, based on the report.

  1. Unfair for Gerald because he look so bad after these controversial movie. I think Gerald mother had a point why they don’t talk about the break up of Zanjoe Marudo and just let the break up die down. Now, with Gerald and Bea drama it becomes a talk of the congress and Senate. Media is making it worse. Stop using these issues because of the movie between maybe’s. It did not work out for Julia and Gerald.
