MPD Cops Arrest Two Chinese Nationals For Drunk Driving, Resisting Arrest
COPS – Manila Police District Station 11 cops arrested two Chinese nationals for drunk driving and resisting arrest on Monday.
Lots of Filipinos have noticed the increasing number of working Chinese in the Philippines. But there are also people who are okay with it since they are given jobs by these foreigners.
In a previous article, a Chinese woman went viral after letting toddler poop on the shore of Boracay Station 1. She was also caught on video allegedly burying a used diaper in the sand.
In a report, that portion of Boracay was temporarily closed for a cleanup. A beach guard found the alleged diaper that the Chinese woman buried in the shore. Lots of people expressed their anger towards the foreigner on the video.
Recently, other Chinese nationals were caught violating the Philippines’ law. Based on a report from Inquirer, 2 unruly Chinese men were arrested for drunk driving.
On Monday, authorities arrested the two Chinese nationals for speeding past the Binondo, Manila checkpoint. The officers at Manila Police District (MPD) Station 11 arrested Man-man Chen and Cai Fang Bin.
According to the report, cops cornered them along C.M. Recto Avenue corner Sanchez Street at 2 in the morning. Police Lt. Col. Noel Aliño said the driver, Cai did not have a valid license and drunk while Chen disrespected the cops.
“Mabilis po magpatakbo at paso na ang registration ng sasakyan niya. Wala rin po siyang drivers license at under influence pa po ng alak.”
“To the rescue naman po ‘yung isa at nambubully pa po sa aming mga pulis. Inaresto po namin para malaman nila na bawal na po ang pasaway at hindi sumusunod sa batas sa Maynila,” he added.
Based on the report, they are currently detained at the Manila Police District Station 11. Cai will face charges for drunk driving while Chen gets punished for resistance and disobedience to authorities.
