PNP-SAF Official Rushed To Hospital After His Subordinate Shot Him Inside His Taguig Office

PNP-SAF OFFICIAL – A commanding officer of the Philippine National Police’s Special Action Force was shot by his subordinate inside his office in Taguig City.

Undeniably, one of the challenges that members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) are dealing with daily is to control the use of their firearms. They must be using it in fulfilling their duties of protecting the people.

Police authorities are in constant battle of not using what they have for their personal intentions or to feed their emotions. Recently, a cop in Taguig City seems to have gave in to his emotions.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a PNP-SAF official was shot by his subordinate at work. The incident happened inside the official’s office in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.

According to the report, the victim was identified as Police Major Emerson Palomares. He is a commanding officer of PNP-SAF. The suspect was identified as Police Master Sergeant Sanwright Lobhoy.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Taguig City Police Chief Colonel Alex Santos said that, based on the report they received, Palomares reprimanded Lobhoy. The suspect was arrested after he shot his official.

The PNP-SAF Officer was immediately brought to Parañaque Doctors Hospital. Unfortunately, the official did not survive the incident. Based on the report, the suspect is now under the custody of SAF.

Currently, the police authorities are still investigating the motive of the suspect. We’ll keep you posted for updates.
