GIRLTRENDS MEMBERS – The GirlTrends members has this reaction over backlash received online due to their “How Do You Sleep” performance.

The GirlTrends is an all-female group formed by the Kapamilya noontime show “Its Showtime” which is the counterpart of the “Hashtags”. We often see them perform in the show during the opening production with a sing and dance performance.

However, not in their latest performance where they danced through Sam Smith’s hit “How Do You Sleep” where netizens described it as “nagkalat, hindi sabay-sabay, at watak-watak”. Obviously, the whole performance wasn’t pleasing at all to the viewers. Some have preferred seeing the MNL48 than these female group.

They received backlash online because of this and the members such as Chienna Filomeno, Mica Javier, and Sammie Rimando. Chienna and Mica admitted that they are not feeling well that day neither with their performance and apologized while Sammie answered someone saying that if they did a good performance, no one notices.

Chienna indicated in a clap back against critic, “Yup, ako may sala. Aminado ako. That definitely wasn’t my day. I’m sorry for that. Ngayon lang ako naganyan sa 3years ko sa GT. Eh kayo kailan kayo magiging sorry sa kaka shame niyo ng tao na walang ginagawa sa inyo? I wish you all nothing but happiness and contentment.”
