Why Erich Gonzales turned down the series with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim?
Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales revealed the reason why she turned down the series Love Thy Woman with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.
Erich was supposed to be in the upcoming soap opera featuring the KimXi love team. However, she turned it down and the reason was not initially revealed. In a previous report, it was alleged that the actress showed “diva” attitude on the set.
However, a recent report from Philippine Entertainment Portal revealed the true reason of the actress why she said no to the project with KimXi. A statement from ABS-CBN confirmed that she is no longer part of the series. Her role was supposed to be the fiancee of the character of Xian and half-sister of the character of Kim. Yam Concepcion was the one who replaced her.
In the statement revealing the part of Erich Gonzales, it was said that “due to creative differences”, she decided to resign. A source who told PEP.ph, revealed that Erich was not told that her character will be turned into an antagonist. This was not discussed with the actress when the role was first offered to her.
