Class Suspension Declared In These Areas for Wednesday (August 14)
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared class suspension in several areas due to the inclement weather condition.
Over the past few weeks, the southwest monsoon or locally known as ‘Habagat’ continues to affect the weather condition in the country.
The southwest monsoon brings cloudy weather condition accompanied by light to moderate and at times heavy rains and strong winds in several areas.
Many schools have also declared the cancellation of classes in different areas due to the inclement weather condition brought by the Habagat.
On Wednesday (August 14, 2019), the classes have been suspended over some parts of the country due to the effects of southwest monsoon.
The class suspension has been done to ensure the safety of the Filipino students from any possible danger brought by the weather system.
Here is the list of areas covered by the class cancellations:
ALL LEVELS
- Abra
- Baguio City
- La Trinidad, Benguet
- Itogon, Benguet
PRESCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
- Mountain Province
- Entire Benguet Province Except for Itogon
