Elderly Woman Who Claims She Was Robbed Gets Lecture From Cops

ELDERLY WOMAN – Police officers scolded the elderly woman who intentionally ripped her bag and claims she was robbed.

It’s a sad fact that there are thousands of people who would commit crimes just to have money. The most rampant nowadays are robbery and burglary.

In the Philippines, thousands of cases were filed every day regarding robbery cases nationwide. The cause of these crimes is probably because of poverty. Young and elderly persons even have the audacity to commit this crime.

Recently, a video of an old woman who claimed that she was robbed went viral on social media. The video was shared on the Facebook Page of Rec Ips.

In the caption of the post, it says that the elderly woman went to the Special Mayor’s Reaction Team (SMaRT) to report about her alleged misfortune. The head of the anti-crime squad, P/Major Rosalino P. Ibay Jr., caught the “modus” of the old woman.

Based on the caption, the elderly woman was just acting at the police station. She allegedly tore her bag to make it look like she was robbed but she was just asking for money from people and government employees.

The police officer just let the old woman go and warned her not to do it again. “Wag na kayong mangloloko ha!, o sige nap o, pwede na kayong umuwi,” said the police.

The authorities confiscated “props” or bag of the elderly woman to end her modus. The cops were kind enough to let the old woman free.
