And now, here are some tips and tricks in accordance to Psychology that would probably help you read the mind of another person:

  • To know who one person likes the most or most comfortable with in a group, observe to whom he or she is directing to when laughing. It’s a human tendency to seek approval of something they think or have someone share it with.
  • Chew something whenever you’re feeling something. Chewing or eating something before an event that makes you nervous will lessen the anxiety you feel as it gives the brain the signal to relax and to calm you down.
  • If you want to squeeze out more information from someone over a particular topic, intent staring might help. It is a sign of persuasion that the overwhelming silence will make the other spill more details.
  • If you feel like someone is turning their gaze at you, try to yawn, Yawning is very contagious. Every time we see someone yawning, we do the same. And that could be a trick to see who is looking at you.
  • Most people vividly remember if one task is done or said at the beginning or at the end of the day – everything in between is already a blur.
  • The direction where one person’s feet is pointing to determines how much that person is interested in you.
  • Copying one’s actions or habits might likely make you win their trust. Reflect to what they are telling you. Smile over the good news or frown over the bad one. Just don’t overdo things. A sincere smile also helps.
  • If one person is biting something such as pencil or the end of their eyeglasses, this may indicate that they are worried over something.
  • Chin rubbing is a sign that the person is in his deep thoughts trying to seriously come up with a decision.
  • Crossing arms is commonly done if one is irritated over something.
  • Leaning forward to someone you are talking to signals your interest about getting to know them better while leaning backward determines the opposite.
