Filipinos Rescue Chinese Tourists Floating in Water
CHINESE TOURIST – Filipinos rescued the 16 Chinese tourists after their boat submerged in the water in Boracay.
Boracay Island is one of the best tourist spots in the Philippines. Millions of tourist from all over the world visit the paradise-like island.
Last year, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered a six months rehabilitation to the beautiful island to save it from getting more polluted each year. On October 2018, the world’s famous beach re-opened.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, 16 Chinese tourists were rescued by Filipinos after their boat collided with another sea vessel.
The foreigners were spotted floating on the coast of the island in Malay town, Aklan Province on July 1.

The boat of the 16 Chinese tourists “JIN JU” collided with “MBCA LMJ” service boat around 1:45 in the afternoon. JIN JU was just 65 meters away from the Bulabong Beach for an island-hopping activity.
MBCA LMJ boat that has 22 passengers hit the starboard of the JIN JU ship. The boat got damaged and quickly submerged.

According to the report, the Philippine Coast Guard were quick to rescue the foreigners who were floating on the water.
Officials said 12 of the Chinese tourist were slightly injured while the others sustained abrasions and bruises.
The skippers of JIN JU and MBCA LMJ were placed under custody of the Philippine Coast Guard Boracay for investigation.
