MOR 101.9’s DJ Jasmin Basar Passed Away At The Age Of 35 Due To Kidney Failure

MOR – ABS-CBN radio station MOR 101.9 announced that DJ Jasmin Basar passed away due to chronic kidney failure.

DWRR-FM or MOR 101.9 For Life is a 24-hour music radio station owned by the ABS-CBN network. It is among the famous radio stations in Luzon.

One of the most favorite disk jockey (DJ) on the FM station is DJ Jasmin Basar. She’s best remembered her radio program “Dear Jasmin” later changed into “Dear MOR.”

Based on a report from ABS-CBN, DJ Jasmin shared that she’s diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2018. She had been undergoing dialysis since February 2019 and searched for a kidney donor. During her battle with the disease, she would still give an update to her status via phone patch.

“Bakit ako? Sa dinadami ng tao sa mundo na masasama, why me? Gano’n ka ba kabilib sa akin, Lord, sa powers ko, at iyon agad ang binigay mong pagsubok, agad-agad?” she said.

According to the report, MOR 101.9 For Life took to the social media to announce that DJ Jasmin passed away due to her illness.

In the caption of the post, it wrote: “Salamat, Jasmin. Mahal ka namin”

DJ Jasmin’s colleague DJ Chacha and DJ Popoy paid tribute to their friend through their respective social media account.
