Malacañang Reveals Issues To Be Discussed in the Duterte SONA 2019
DUTERTE SONA 2019 – The Malacañang Palace revealed some of the issues that will be discussed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in his State of the Nation Address today, July 22.
Today, the Filipino people await the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. It will be held in Batasang Pambansa Complex today, July 22.
The SONA is expected to gather a lot of people in the field of politics. Also, many Filipino people are expected to watch the SONA of the President through televisions and live streams.
Surely, many people are curious as to what the President will discuss during the fourth Duterte SONA 2019.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Malacañang Palace has recently revealed some of the issues that will be discussed by the President during the Duterte SONA 2019.
The Palace expressed that the President will talk about corruption, drugs, and issues about the West Philippine Sea among others.
Cleaning the country from corruption and drugs are the campaign promises of Pres. Duterte in 2016. The former Davao City Mayor won a landslide election.
Based on the report, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo also revealed that the President will deliver the achievements of his administration.
According to Panelo, the previous year was really “meaningful” and they are all excited for the SONA 2019.
It was earlier reported that a short speech can be expected during the Duterte SONA 2019 today, July 22. According to the Presidential Spokesperson, it is because 3 pre-SONA forums were held and the achievements of the current admin were discussed.
As to Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Pres. Duterte might complete his speech between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
