When the said photo surfaced on social media, speculations also surfaced that Angelica has a new boyfriend.
Fans have been anticipating for the love life of the actress to bloom. Many people thought she would rekindle her affair with ex-boyfriend Carlo Aquino when they did a movie together.
However, the actor was linked to a non-showbiz girl as their photos together circulated on social media.
When Angelica was seen with the said foreigner guy hugging her, anticipations rose that she is having a love life now.
The foreigner guy, who was, later on, identified as the hip-hop artist Luckson.
After a week since the said photo surfaced, Angelica Panganiban finally answered the speculations.
Based on the report from Bandera, the Kapamilya actress said that she is not in love right now and her status is still single.
“No, hindi ako in love. Wala may mga kaibigan siyempre akong nakikilala kapag bumibiyahe ako wala naman sigurong masama doon,” she shared.
The actress also said that it just so happened that people abroad are less conservative.
“Ang tao talaga abroad, medyo hindi sila ganu’n ka conservative, I mean very expressive sila sa mga ginagawa nila. So I don’t see any harm naman doon (sa litrato). Mga na-meet ko sila abroad,” Angelica added.
Meanwhile, she also answered the rumors linking her to actor Cholo Barretto when they were spotted together in Siargao, based on the article.
Angelica said, “E ganu’n naman ang mga tao, malisyosa talaga, kahit naman ako malisyosa din naman ako, ‘di ba? Pwede ko rin pagdudahan ‘yun pero anong gagawin ko? Anong reaction ang gagawin ko? Wala naman akong ginagawa.”
