Netizens accused Yeng Constantino of shaming a doctor in Siargao
Kapamilya singer Yeng Constantino received bashing after she ranted against a doctor in the surfing capital of the Philippines, Siargao.
Yeng, together with her husband musician Yan Asuncion, went to the said island to unwind. However, their vacation turned into a horrible experience when Yan had a cliff diving accident.
Based on a previous report, Yan had a temporary memory loss of the impact when he fell. He was brought to the nearest hospital in del Carmen but due to insufficient medical facilities, they had to transfer to Dapa Siargao Hospital.
However, Yeng was also dissatisfied of the hospital’s personnel. She named and ranted against the doctor on her social media posts.
“After di magwork ng X Ray, pag ultrsound kay Yan, paghihintay at maraming attitude na lumipad sa ospital eh itong Dra. Esterlina Luzares Tan biglang sinabi na may INFRASCANNER pala sila! All this time na buong tensyon ang room sya lamang ang kalma at tila walang pakialam ay meron palang equipment na tinatago na specifically kailangan sa accident na ito! Para po akong mababaliw!” the singer said on her Instagram post.
She even included a photo of the said doctor.
In line with this, Yeng Constantino received sympathy from her fans and social media followers. On the other hand, several netizens her for ranting against the doctor on her posts.
Some criticized her for naming the doctor and including her photo. There were also several netizens who criticized the Kapamilya singer for not understanding the situation in hospitals.
In addition, Yeng was slammed for having the guts to vlog everything that happened in the hospital after the accident.
For some, what she did was not sharing the traumatic experience but shaming the doctor.
