Here Are Some Of The Weirdest Known Phobias
UNUSUAL PHOBIAS – Most people share the same common phobias fearing the same things, while other people’s phobias are just different.
Phobia is defined as an anxiety disorder that is characterized by person’s fear of certain things of circumstances. Most people fear the same things such as the dark, monsters, heights and etc.

Other than the common phobias, there are actual people who fear the most unusual things/circumstance. Although they might sound irrational and different, they are very much real.
Here the most bizarre phobias that have been known:
NOMOPHOBIA
One of them is this phobia – the feeling of discomfort and anxiety when out of phone’s range or having a low service signal or a dead battery. It was believed back then, that more than half of all the cellphone users had this kind of phobia.
ANEMOPHOBIA
The fear of wind. This phobia is characterized with anxiety when a person is outdoors with strong winds, near open windows or anywhere they can experience strong wind. People could develop this phobia triggered by a past experience.
SPECTROPHOBIA
The fear of mirrors. This kind of fear could be developed from watching horror films that show apparitions or ghosts showing up in the reflection or low self-esteem.
ABLUTOPHOBIA
The fear of cleaning/washing. This is most common in children and women. The fear of taking a bath. However, only a very small portion of the population have this kind of fear.
OPTOPHOBIA
The fear of opening one’s eyes. Yes. It exists! There really are people who are scared of opening their eyes.
CHOROPHOBIA
The fear of dancing. This is usually with people who already have an already existing fear of crowds. The fear of dancing or getting involved in events that is associated with dancing. (Alcohol can’t fix it!)
