SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar Sharon Cuneta opened up about her son Miguel and how she told him that he is adopted.
Judy Ann Santos and Claudine Barretto are just among the famous personalities who have adopted child and for that, they are very admired by a lot of people because of their compassion and love to children who were abandoned by their biological parents.
And also on the list is the Megastar Sharon Cuneta. On the first YouTube video of the veteran star is where she tackled topics about adoption and answered how to tell their adopted children that they are adopted.
Opening up about his son, she shared he came in their life in time where she was immensely praying for a son. Miguel was a gift to them and they were so in love with him. And they see and feel no difference towards him and to their biological children. They all love them equally.
Upon telling him the truth, there was one movie that triggered her son to ask her one time, when he was still so young, if he is adopted or not while they are just cuddling. She further shared, “All of a sudden, he asked me, ‘Am I adopted, Mama?’… I wasn’t prepared.”
The Megastar added, “Your sisters came from my tummy. Your Ates came from my tummy. You, God sent you to us. Now pag tinanong mo siya ‘Who gave you to Daddy and Mommy?’ Sasabihin niya ‘Jesus’. So, parang alam niya na he’s a special child na special in a way na he was chosen. Not so much by us but by God who gave him to the family.”
