MRT7 Has 36 Korean-made Train Sets W/ 3 Cars Each
MRT-7 – The MRT 7, part of the P8-trillion infrastructure program of the President Rodrigo Duterte, will run 36 Korean-made trains set with 3 cars each.
New Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 3 or MRT-3 rails from Japan arrived in the Harbour Centre Port Terminal Inc. in Manila last July 10.
The Bureau of Customs were the ones who waited for the shipments at the port and said the rehabilitation project will start before 2019 ends.
Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe complained about the show rehabilitation of the train. She also asked why the P22 billion budget was not enough to fix the glitches immediately.
“Pag hindi tumirik, umuusok o tumutulo… hindi pa ba sapat ang tatlong taon para maisaayos ang problema?” she said.
The Filipino MRT-3 commuters are sure can’t wait to experience the good changes of the train as the government promised lots of progress after the rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, photos of the MRT-7 train, which is also part of the P8-trillion infrastructure program of President Duterte’s administration was posted on the internet.
The destination of the train will begin at San Jose del Monte, and will end in Quezon City’s North Avenue Grand Central Station.
The new railway will have 14 stations:

- Tala
- Sacred Heart
- Quirino
- Mindanao Avenue
- Regalado
- Doña Carmen
- Maggahan
- Batasan
- San Antonio
- Tandang Sora
- University Avenue
- Quezon Memorial
- North Avenue
ABS-CBN reporter Jacque Manabat shared the photo of the trains on her official Twitter account.
In the caption of the post, she said the 36 trains are made in Korea that came with 3 cars each.
“MRT7 will run 36 Korean-made train sets with 3 cars each.”
