Here Are Some Hidden Features In iOS 12
HIDDEN FEATURES – The Apple brand of gadgets (mobile phones/tablets) have updated their operating system to iOS 12 recently.
For many years, system developers have worked on improvements on several devices. Operating systems are constantly being updated for better performance, interface and added functions. They have also been adding features most people aren’t aware of.
Most phones’ operating systems have these lesser known features.
The iOS is the next most popular mobile operating system next to Android. These operates on most of the popular Apple-branded devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Although Apple developers and executives have revealed the some of the new features about the updated iOS, there are still some features that are not often talked about.
Here are some of them:
Update On The ‘Do Not Disturb’ Feature
If you long-pressed the ‘Do Not Disturb’ icon on your device’s control center, a new option would pop up. This will allow you to set the feature to activate when you’re at a set location. This could be helpful for meetings, dates and other occasions when you’re not supposed to be on your phone.
Ringless Notification
This new feature is applicable when using the FaceTime app. If you try to call more than one person, the app will now only display a notification without the noisy interruption.
Registering Two Faces On Face ID
The new operating system can now support two faces to be recognized for the Face Unlock feature. You can now register another face for the security system.
New Shortcuts
The 3D touch shortcut is probably a forgotten feature in the previous iOS but it can be really useful. For the new update, new shortcuts have been added. You can access this option if you press firmly on one of the apps’ icon. New shortcuts include – instant document scanning in Notes app and instant access to the viewfinder in the Camera app.
