Thai beauty queen basher of Catriona Gray gave condition before she’ll apologize
Thai beauty queen Coco Arayha Suparurk who bashed Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, reportedly, gave condition before she will apologize.
It can be recalled that Coco shared a photo on her Instagram story showing a comparison between the Filipina beauty queen and Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa from Paraguay.
In the photo, Clara was tagged “fit” while “fat” was written on Catriona’s photo. The Thai beauty queen received criticisms from netizens because of this.
Behind the criticisms, Coco won the Miss Grand Thailand 2019 crown and will have the chance to represent her country this October in Venezuela.
Amid this issue, Catriona shared a post about her stand on body-shaming, however, it was unclear if that was her answer to her basher. Several beauty queens in the Philippines also showed support for the reigning Miss Universe.
Based on the report from PEP, Coco said in an interview before the coronationa night that she shared the photo because she really admires Clara’s figure.
“I shared the truth. I know she’s Miss Universe, but the picture just says it all,” she said.
Miss Grand International franshise owner Nawat Itsaragrisil defended Coco and said to the fans of Catriona Gray “to message the reigning Miss Universe to do some exercise.”
Apparently, the Thai beauty queen is still standing firm for what she posted on social media. A post from the Facebook Page of PowerhousePH stated that Coco will apologize if Catriona will do her condition.
Reportedly, Coco said, “If Cat will message me directly, I would apologize.”
