Catriona Gray Responds On Issues About Bodyshaming And Bullying

CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray recently gave her perspective and answers on issues about bullying and bodyshaming.

Gray was “bodyshamed” by now Miss Grand Thailand 2019 Coco Arayha Suparurk when Coco compared both Gray and Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa. Coco described Sosa “fit”, while she called Gray “fat”.

Arayha was bashed by netizens who quickly screenshotted her now deleted IG story.

Bb. Pilipinas queens also gave their take on the issue, with Ganados saying she was confident that Gray will not be affected about the issue, further noting that she has faced these criticisms before she became queen.

As of now, both Gray and Coco did not gave their response on the issue.

Gray, however, replied to netizens on Twitter regarding issues such as bodyshaming, and bullying.

A netizen named “unitedcolorsofbenet” asked Gray on her take on body shaming.

Gray responded by saying that it is a hurtful issue and should not be tolerated. She further added that she knows how it feels to be body-shamed, further encouraging the netizens that they are more than their appearance.

Another netizen named “Willowcito” asked Catriona’s stand on the same issue and bullying.

Gray responded that she is clearly against any form of bashing and bullying, online or not. She further added that it is not okay to put someone down for the sake of expressing their opinions

Another netizen named “Belle” asked the queen for advice on loving the way she (Belle) is, noting that she is a fat girl.

Catriona said that Belle is so much more than her body, further saying that her mind, unique talents, character, life experiences, and personality also defines her than just her exterior.
