There has been many reports of huge explosions in the past. Usually caused by preset explosive devices, attacks and gas leaks, huge explosions usually happen at specifically targeted places.

This time, however, a KFC restaurant in North Carolina randomly exploded with a huge blast bringing the building to the ground with most of it ruined.

Luckily, no one was in the building as the blast happened. North Carolina KFC Employees are grateful that no one was hurt by the devastating incident.

Report from the Eden Police Department revealed that the KFC branch is located in Eden. Employees have already left the building when the blast happened around 12:35 am.

The employee also revealed that they have smelled gas right when they were closing the store and leaving. The branch manager also made a call to the gas company right before they locked the store up.

A footage of the explosion was also taken by security cameras on nearby business establishments. The blast was so strong that stores around the branch were also damaged.

The local cops confirmed that there were no reported injuries after the incident.

Greg Light – Eden Police Chief, claimed he even felt the blast when it happened while he was 2 miles away from the spot.

He made the confirmation that there was no one inside building when they searched it:

“We’ve actually searched the building and no one is inside the building, which is great.”

This is according to an article from Fox News.

Daniel Pierce from Fox 8 also reported that a thing which seems to be a window part on the restaurant’s drive thru was blown 50 feet away from the store by the blast.

That is all there is to it, at least for now. We’ll post updates as soon as we got them.
