Ang Probinsyano Party-List Rep Who Punched Waiter in Legaspi City Insists He’s Not A Bully
ANG PROBINSYANO REP – Representative of Ang Probinsyano party-list, Alfred Delos Santos insisted that he is not a bully.
Following a previous article, the video of Ang Probinsyano party-list representative Alfred Delos Santos hitting a waiter in Legaspi City went viral online.
Fortunately, the employee at Biggs Diner Christian Kent Alejo luckily avoided his punch. He claimed that the politician hit him “without any apparent reason.”
After the CCTV footage went viral, Alfred Delos Santos went to the waiter’s house and apologized for what happened.
“Pumunta siya dito, sir. Humihingi siya ng dispensa. Ang sabi ko, ‘Kung hihingi ka ng dispensa, mag-sorry ka sa taumbayan na may media. Sabihin mo kung ano ang totoo,” Alejo said.
In a report, Christian Kent Alejo demanded a public apology from the ‘Ang Probinsyano’ congressman.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Alfred Delos Santos insisted that he is not a “troublemaker” nor a “bully.”
“I am not a bully or a troublemaker. Hindi po ako siga, astig or sanggano. The people who know me well can attest to that.”
“This single incident does not represent me or my values, and I will prove it by working hard to deliver our party platform and campaign promises to fellow probinsyanos, and from hereon conduct myself as an exemplary public servant worthy of the trust and confidence our people placed on us last election,” he added.
According to the report, Ang Probinsyano rep issued an apology amid rumors that he could be removed from his post.
Upon reflection on what had happened, I am really sorry that I have reacted the way I did. I should have known better, for that I am truly sorry. My emotions got the best of me.”
“I have no excuse, only regret and the promise that it will not happen again,” he added.
The politician also asked an apology to his colleagues and party mates in the Congress.
